Clinical Services

Counseling for yourself or a family member may be the most significant decision that you will make. Relationships, both within our family circle or in other areas of our lives, can greatly impact our growth, happiness, and our sense of security. Consulting a qualified, professional therapist to assist in overcoming life’s problems can be an important decision for you or your family.

Clinical Services Available

Outpatient Mental Health Counseling Services
Counseling Services for individuals, couples, families, children,  and adolescent counseling/ therapy are provided by highly qualified, professional therapists. Problems that are routinely addressed and resolved include marital and family conflict, adolescent issues, depression, anxiety & stress, support with addictions,  anger management and impulse control, support with grief and loss, children’s behavior problems, sibling rivalry, parent-child relationships, domestic violence and trauma care, as well as the difficulties that are encountered in different life stages. We have counseling services available in various locations. Please call our client intake line to schedule an appointment. A sliding scale fee is charged based on income.

Pregnancy Counseling Services
We provide free, professional counseling to assist you and your family with decision making, problem solving, and goal setting. Our services are aimed at helping families make positive plans that include parenting, adoption, or kinship care for your unborn child.

Post Adoption Services
Our post-adoption counseling and search and reunion programs offer a continuum of services that respect the relationships among all members of the adoption triad—the adoptee, the birth parents, and the adoptive parents. In all circumstances, confidentiality and our clients’ best interests are our primary concerns. When appropriate, we provide information and referrals for those seeking additional counseling around issues related to placing a child for adoption, being adopted, and parenting.

Parent Talk: In Home Parenting Education
The Parent Talk Program serves to educate, strengthen and support pregnant and parenting families to raise their children in a safe and healthy environment so that they may achieve their full potential. This program focuses on family support and early intervention. Clients for this service must be pregnant or have a child 6 months of age or younger in the home.

Play Therapy for Children
Play Therapy is a creative and healthy way to foster critical development in your child. Through play, children learn to express feelings in a healthy way, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, improve self-esteem and relate to others. Parents benefit from this treatment by an improved relationship with the child, a deeper understanding of the child’s behavior and increased parenting skills.
