Why Counseling?
Counseling for yourself or someone in your family may be the most significant decision that you will make. Consulting a qualified, professional therapist to assist in overcoming life’s problems can be an important decision for you or your family.
Counseling Services
The Village of St. Joseph Counseling Services offers individual, couples, family, children, adolescent, and group counseling/ therapy provided by highly qualified, professional therapists. Problems that are routinely addressed and resolved include marital and family conflict, adolescent issues, depression, anxiety & stress, addictions, grief & loss, as well as the difficulties that are encountered in different life stages.
Special training for prisoners is offered: “Thresholds” training for prisoners on how to make decisions by integrating thinking with feelings.

Counseling
Services are offered at our new main office at 600 W. Peachtree Street
in Atlanta. Services are also provided at approximately 34 parishes,
or other Catholic Charities’ locations that may be more convenient
for you. We will help you identify the nearest location for your
convenience.

A sliding scale fee is charged based on income. Health insurance
