2014 Gala Fund-a-Need:
Helping Those Most Vulnerable
CCA provides low-cost, quality legal immigration services to more than 6,000 clients annually. A nine-person staff specializing in immigration law provide comprehensive immigration legal services to help eligible individuals and families obtain their permanent legal status, assist clients with the naturalization process, or provide legal representation during deportation proceedings. We specialize in assisting survivors of domestic violence, abandoned or neglected foreign neglected foreign children, detained clients and victims of trafficking and crimes.
Our attorneys help these victims obtain immigration benefits that empower them to overcome trauma they have endured and become active members of their communities.
Many immigrants are involved in violent relations or have been trafficked against their will to the U.S. Most are afraid to leave these relationships because they don’t have proper immigration status. Fortunately, there are laws to protect them and help them gain status so they no longer need to be afraid.
