Engage with CCA
Partners and Collaborators
Catholic Charities Atlanta is able to provide a holistic approach to services because of valuable collaborations within our community. As a member of the Atlanta non-profit community for over fifty years, CCA partners with local businesses, corporations, and other non-profits to provide much needed assistance to those in need.
One of our strategic plan guiding principles is the integration of volunteers into the work and activities of the organization. A Parish Champions program is in development to the increase involvement of the Catholic community on the parish level. Additionally, we plan to engage volunteers and interns of all faiths in the programs and services that CCA provides.
Catholic Charities Atlanta relies on the amazing work done by scores of volunteers each year. Volunteer opportunities include instructors, tutors, teachers, event volunteers, office assistance, social work internships, fundraising, special project volunteers, translators, volunteer attorneys, data entry assistance and much more. Visit our volunteer services page for more information.
“Thank you for opening your hearts to us and letting us see the world in them.” –from a CCA volunteer
Last year, Catholic Charities Atlanta served 21,632 clients in 69 North Georgia counties, regardless of their race or religion. Each client case is a unique individual in crisis, and each is part of a family and our larger community. Striving to give our clients the confidence to care for themselves and their families, we help them to prioritize their most urgent needs and work toward long lasting life changes.
Catholic Charities Atlanta is an agency that serves as an advocate and friend for people facing adversity. We work with individuals and families – without regard to background – as they achieve self-sufficiency.
Under our service philosophy,”S.O.A.R.,” we help clients:
- build and/or strengthen needed skills;
- identify and take advantage of available opportunities;
- address issues that may be obstacles to accessing the services they need; and,
- locate and utilize available community resources.
