The candidate should have a High School Diploma, 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service/clerical setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Social Media, excellent written & oral communication skills. The Volunteer Resources Specialist will support all aspects of volunteer recruitment, training and recognition. Duties will include community outreach & recruitment of volunteers and all paperwork related to volunteer screening. Monthly reporting, database upkeep & management, Christmas Connection preparation work and execution.

Logistics and Support Specialist
Catholic Charities Atlanta Refugee Resettlement Services is seeking a Part-Time Logistics and Support Specialist to begin in July 2015. This position is generally 15 hours per week and includes duties such as interpretation, setting up new homes for arriving clients, teaching clients to access public transportation, helping clients access public benefits, and other activities to support resettlement.
The ideal candidate is multi-lingual and speaks one or more languages that enhance the capacity of the Resettlement Team (examples: Arabic, Swahili, Tigrinya, Lingala). Candidates must be willing to work on a multi-cultural team and with clients from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Good verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility in schedule are qualities which are strongly preferred. The other position is part-time.
