Family Reunification Specialist
Full-time Family Reunification Specialist: This position is responsible for managing a case load of Safe Passages cases (cases involving unaccompanied children who are in immigration removal proceedings). The position involves regular communication with clients, travel to client homes around the N. GA area, and follow-up with community providers to ensure that clients are connected to services. This is a grant funded position.
Position requirements: A bachelor’s degree in social work or social sciences. Previous case management experience and prior knowledge of specific funding requirements are preferred. Candidates must be fully bilingual in both English and Spanish. A willingness and ability to work with clients, volunteers, and co-workers from multiple cultural backgrounds is required. Candidate must be fluent in English with good interpersonal, verbal, and written skills. Flexibility for a non-traditional schedule including quite a bit of night and weekend work is required. Candidate must have valid Georgia driver’s license, reliable personal transportation and current auto coverage.

Special Events & Community Outreach Manager
In this key position on the Development and Marketing team of Catholic Charities Atlanta, this individual will be responsible for developing fund raising and outreach events as well as executing all event logistics. Events include, but are not limited to all Catholic Charities Atlanta Leadership Class events, networking events, and the agency’s largest annual fundraiser—the Spring CCA Soirée. VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America) position
Catholic Charities Atlanta has an open VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America) position serving the Atlanta area out of the Northlake Office Park, 2305 Parklake Drive, Suite 150, Building 9, Atlanta, GA 30345.
The project is to develop a sustainable program to increase the awareness and success of our refugee resettlement work. The VISTA candidate will engage volunteers to serve with refugee families and small groups and to develop quality marketing materials based on the volunteers experiences (success stories, videos, etc.). The expectation is that the experiences and marketing success will increase fundraising, youth involvement and collaboration on a community level.
The candidate will also support the Coalition of Refugee Service Agencies to highlight the cultural, economic, and social contributions of refugees and immigrants to the State of Georgia.
As a VISTA member, the candidate commits to a 12 month assignment for which a stipend of $11,796 is paid. The candidate must complete a 3-day Pre-Service Orientation training program scheduled for November 3-6, 2015.

Maintenance Technician / FT
Catholic Charities Atlanta is seeking a candidate for a full time position of MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for ST. JOSEPH PLACE, a senior living apartment complex. This position reports to the Property Manager of ST. JOSEPH PLACE.
General: Completion of high school education or GED equivalent. Two years working experience in facility maintenance.
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry is a plus. General public works repair and maintenance techniques & practices.
Operation and minor maintenance of a variety of hand and power tools, vehicles and power equipment. Basic inventory and record keeping practices. State of Georgia Driver’s License. The Maintenance Technician oversees and is responsible for the day to day operation of SJP, under the direction of the Property Manager, for the overall maintenance of the physical property.
