Social Adjustment Specialist
Catholic Charities Atlanta’s Refugee Resettlement Services is seeking a Social Adjustment Specialist (part-time, 24 hours per week). This is a grant funded position that will last one year (ending September 30, 2015). Job duties will include: health-related case management and education, home management instruction and assistance, crisis intervention, and conducting workshops. The position requires an ability to maintain accurate and thorough case file documentation to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Position requirements: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Candidates should have experience with grants and reporting as well as direct experience working with refugees. Ability to work within communities and understand complex family issues is required. Reliable transportation and valid Georgia driver’s license are also requirements.
